Demo

Super Round Robin is an app that allows you to assign records from any object to the right team or individual using rules and schedules. Here are some guidelines that show how to use the app to create a match group for web leads and test it with some sample data.

A match group is a container that holds a collection of rules and a collection of assignees. A rule defines the criteria for matching a record, such as the lead source or the territory. An assignee is a user or a queue that can receive the record. You can create as many match groups as you need for different scenarios and objects.

To create a match group for web leads, go to the app’s main control screen and click on New Match Group. Give it a name, such as Web Leads Team, and select Lead as the object. Then, add a rule that matches records where the Lead Source equals Web. Next, add the assignees that you want to assign the web leads to, such as Charlie Cronin, Gabby, and Chrome Gracie. Choose Equal Round Robin as the assignment mode, which means that each assignee will get an equal share of the records.

To test the match group, we will use a tool called Postman, which simulates a web-to-lead form submission. We will create some fake leads with different names and set their lead source to Web. Then, we will submit them to Salesforce and see how they are assigned by Super Round Robin.

After submitting the leads, we can go to the Match Log screen, which shows a log of all the assignments that Super Round Robin does. We can see that the Web Leads Team match group has assigned the leads to Charlie, Gabby, and Chrome in a round-robin fashion. We can also verify this by looking at the lead records themselves.

The Match Log screen is very useful for troubleshooting and understanding how your assignments work. You can also use the Working Hour Summary screen to see and change the availability of your assignees based on their schedules and shifts.

You can install the app on your sandbox and explore its features further by following the setup guide and reading the knowledge base. If you have any questions or comments, please email us at info@smartroundrobincom.
